Global Gazette Moves To New Web Address
In order to more closely integrate the free information and news contained in The Global Gazette, with our primary website, the complete content of The Global Gazette became part of GlobalGenealogy.com site this week.
The Global Gazette remains a separate entity within Global's main website, however over the coming months links for the "free content" currently in The Global Gazette, will become more accessable from the commercial sections of the site.
We see this change as a first step toward providing a single portal for a wide range of genealogical and historical information, both free and commercial.
The new Global Gazette address is:
Those who go to the old URL or who have The Global Gazette in your 'favourites' list, will be automatically forwarded to the new location.
Webmasters: Those who have websites with links to multiple articles in the Global Gazette can easily change the links on your site with a 'extended replace' of the address "http://globalgazette.net" with "http://globalgenealogy.com/globalgazette/". All of the sub-directories remain the same as on the original site.
