Family historians will greatly appreciate news about the Church of Ireland, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cork and Ross, and the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport and their continuing efforts to develop online resources for Irish family history research.
The following is an excerpt from National Archives of Ireland News and Events:
"The remaining Church of Ireland parish records for Dublin City, county Kerry and county Carlow have now been added to the Irish Genealogy website, together with a subset of the records of parishes in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cork and Ross.
Transcripts of church records for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kerry, some Church of Ireland parishes in Kerry, some Roman Catholic and Church of Ireland parishes in Dublin City, and one Presbyterian congregation in Lucan, county Dublin, are already available on the website.
All records on the website are available to search and view free of charge".
