The first session of the 37th Parliament of Canada was prorogued on 16 September 2002. The proroguing of this session means that all outstanding business before the House of Commons and the Senate, including Bill S-12 - An Act to Amend the Statistics Act and National Archives of Canada Act, ceases to exist.
