CERTIFICATE BINDERS & REFILLS
A new solution for storage for your UK birth, marriage and death certificates, and other documents.
Family historians with UK ancestors know how difficult it is to find a suitable product in which to store the awkward-sized certificates for your UK family. These certificate binders not only give you an archivally sound storage method, they also provide easy access for users to view the cerificates without unnecessarily handling them. These Deluxe quality binders will accept either between archivally sound mylar or inert Polypropylene certificate holder (pages)... both provide a safe haven for your certificates and archival documents.
Binders, certificate holders (polypockets), and tabbed dividers are purchased individually.
Deluxe Binders
The textured and padded covers of deluxe binders provide a sense of quality when viewed or handled. 44.5cms x 27cms approx. (17.5ins x 10.75ins). This landscape, four 'O' ring, grained and padded PVC binder is available in three colours : BURGUNDY : CEDAR GREEN : DARK BLUE.
The binder has a transparent pocket on the spine, will lay flat when open. Each binder will hold up to 40 polypockets, thus storing up to 80 certificates if they are placed back to back, two per pocket.
Dividers
The set of 5 tabbed dividers enable separation of polypockets in the certifcate binder into your own grouping (i.e. family groups; birth, death, marriage etc.)
The dividers are made from fine-grade heavy-weight acid-free card stock
MYLAR Clear Certificate Holders
Mylar Certificate Holders / Polypockets BEST QUALITY:
39.8cms x 23.4cms approx. (15.5ins.x 9ins) (please note: this is the internal measurement of the pocket). Made from crystal clear polyester these pockets have an extra secure opening on the short side which keeps contents firmly in place until the ring mechanism of the binder is opened. Polyester (Mylar) is inert (acid free) and is acclaimed and approved by Museums and all major Archives as safe and suitable for long-term storage of documents etc.
POLYPROPYLENE Clear Certificate Holders
Polypropylene Cetificate Holders / Polypockets STANDARD QUALITY:
39.8cms x 23.4cms approx. (15.5ins.x 9ins) (please note: this is the internal measurement of the pocket). Made from clear polypropylene the polypockets open on the short side next to the binder rings, (ensuring that the contents do not fall out) and will hold documents up to the size given above. Polypropylene is inert (acid free), making it safe and suitable for long term storage of documents.
