children, 5 survived. I am a descendant of this family. Any
information on William DIZZELL and James DEZELL and
possibly another brother would be appreciated.
- George GARDINER born Kilfron, Ireland married Feb 17, 1813 in
Ballisbury Co. Mayo, Ireland to Anne READY born
Ratherury-Newton White Co. Mayo, Ireland. Their children (all born in
Co. Mayo, Ireland) were:
- Robert b. 29 Sept 1817;
- George b. 6 July 1819, died in Ireland;
- Charles b. 9 Feb 1821 came to Canada 1847, d. 14 April 1905 m.
Alice EBBS b. 5 March 1838, d. 10 June 1911 (I am
descendant of this union);
- John b. 22 March 1826;
- Mary / Margaret b. 11 Dec 1823.
- Robert's son George came to Canada and married Mary CHARLETON
on Nov 14 1877 by Rev. W.G. Grout at St. James Church, Carleton Place,
Ont. with witnesses being John McLAREN and Jenny CHURCHILL.
They later moved to or near Boston, Mass., USA.
- Mrs. George GARDINER died Feb 1928 aged 68 years and had
approx. 8-9 children. Any information on Charles: 1821-1905, brothers
and sisters or descendants would be appreciated.
