I'm researching my g-g-grandparents, Bernard (also called Brian) LEACY (Lacey, Lacy) and Ellen DOHERTY. They came to Lanark Co. from Limerick, Ireland, in 1848. They settled in Ferguson's Falls, where they raised their children, Johanna, Mary, Thomas, Patrick, Bernard, John, James, and Ellen. I know some of the boys lived in Renfrew. My g-grandfather, John, married Ellen MURPHY and moved to Grafton, North Dakota in 1881.

My other g-g-grandparents were Patrick MURPHY and Catherine POOLE. I don't know anything about them, except their children were Ellen, John, Joseph, Mary, Julia, Bridget, Thomas, Patrick, and Catherine.

I would appreciate any information that anyone might have about these families.
