I am searching for information about my grandfather, Alfred Hugh BARR, who was born in Lanark County, ON, February 15, 1878. As a young man he moved to Manitoba where his 3 children were born; after that, he moved to Salmon Arm, B.C., where he passed away in 1947. He married Martha ELLIS of Michigan, whom I am also trying to research. He also had a brother, J. J. BARR and a sister, name unknown, both of whom may have been born in Lanark County. The two siblings were in Edmonton, AB in 1947 at the time of my grandfather's death.
Any information will be helpful, such as his parent's names, etc.
