Robert CRAWFORD & wife Mary LOCHEAD from SCT settled possibly in Dalhousie Twp about 1821 with three children: John, Agnes and Robert.

John CRAWFORD married Maria MONTEITH in Perth 1840 but I have no further information on him.

Agnes married a McGLOSHIN (?) but unable to find record to confirm surname.

Robert CRAWFORD (died 1886 Lanark) married in 1832 to Sarah BAIN (died 1894 Lanark) and had the following children:

• Sara (b. Sep. 4, 1833) who married William LEGARE;
• Mary (b. Jan. 9, 1834) who married Mr. McLEEAND (?);
• Robert (b. Dec. 26, 1836) who married Sophie WARD;
• Alex (b. March 26, 1838) died about 1840;
• James (b. July 15, 1839) died about 1854;
• Margaret (b. Nov. 12, 1842) who married David DOBBIE;
• Charlotte (b. Nov. 2, 1845) who married Malcolm McPHERSON;
• John (b. April 26, 1848) who married Agnes McCONNELL and eventually moved to Alberta;
• Archibald (b. July 20, 1850; died Jul 20, 1902, Shawville, PQ) -- my gg-grandfather who married twice: Harriet LANDON (from Lansdowne) & Agnes JOHNSTON (from Lanark Co);
• Agnes (b. Feb. 12, 1853) who married John McCURDY.
