My research centers around the McEWEN family from Lanark county. My family came to Lanark County from Toronto in 1816. It appears that they lived in South Elmsley Township, Leeds County, Concession 2 Lot 6 in 1861 and by 1880 had settled in Boloingbrooke, South Sherbrooke Township.

Any information on this McEWEN family (ancestors, missing information, corrections and descendants) or other associated family members would be appreciated. I have eight generations recorded in all.
