           I am looking for any information on Charles McKINNON, born circ. 1815, Scotland. Married Elizabeth CLARK circa 1835, Lanark, Scotland. He immigrated to Ontario (N. Sherbrooke or Dalhousie) between 1835 and when his son was born 1846. Hugh McKINNON was born in Balderson 1846. The 1851 census shows him in Bathurst. I have found most of his family buried at Crawford Cemetery. I do not know where Charles was buried (possibly at his residence in Dalhousie) He died Sept 26, 1872. Anyone researching Dalhousie Twp. between 1840-1872, who may come across any McKINNONs, your help would be appreciated.

           Also researching LaHAYE (La HAISE) Ottawa, Quebec, Lanark County; and LEGARY, Lanark County.
