Does anyone have information on the John LOWE who was born in 1802 (or 1802, or 1806) in Ireland, m Janet (or Jencie or Jeannet) McNEELY in 1834, d. in Beckwith ON on 20 Mar 1888. I have reached a stumbling block on my family tree. I am particularly interested in learning his exact birth and marriage date and place, the names of his parents, their birth, marriage and death dates and places, etc.

I am interested in learning more about the following people and their families:

James Alexander LOWE, b. Carleton Place, May 10, 1889.

Father: John LOWE, b. Carleton Place about 1840.

Mother: Annie (or Anne) MacFADDEN (McFADDEN), b. Carleton Place about 1854, m. in Ashton, Feb. 17, 1874.

Other children are John, William, Joe, Sarah, Lucy.

Paternal grandfather: John LOWE, b. Ireland about 1801, d. Beckwith March 20, 1888.

Grandmother: Janet McNEELY, b. Ireland about 1807, d. June 24, 1888.

Other children are James (m. Mary WILSON), Janet (b. about 1836 at Carleton Place, m. John SNYDER), Elizabeth or Mary (b. about 1847 at Carleton Place; m. Russell DRUMMOND), Brice (b. May 2, 1851 at Carleton Place; m. March 31 1881 at Ashton to Christina WHITE; d. Jan. 21, 1932), Catherine (b. Feb. 10, 1842 at Carleton Place; no spouse; d. Dec. 19, 1908).

Maternal grandfather: Joseph McFADDEN, b. about 1822.

Grandmother: Sarah, b. about 1831.
