I am seeking information on William HAMILTON, b. about 1795, Scotland and his wife Rebecca, also b. Scotland, and their son William, b. 1843, Ontario. Rebecca's other children, if any, are unknown to me. William 2 HAMILTON married Anna KEAN, b. June 10, 1845, Ontario, daughter of John KEAN, b. Scotland about 1807 and his wife Anna, b. Scotland.

The children of William 2 HAMILTON and Anna were all born in Ontario and include Janet, b. 1867, Annie/Anna, b. Aug. 9, 1869 in Oliver's Ferry, Rebecca/Becky, b. 1873, George, b. 1875 in Perth, Elizabeth/Lizzie, b. 1877, Minnie/Mary, b. 1880, Margaret/Maggie, b. Mar 27, 1885 in Elmsley and Herbert/Herb, b. Feb. 24, 1886.

Annie HAMILTON married Henry Jacob/ Harry Jacob PRICE, b. 1865/66, son of Fred PRICE and Jane McMUNN. Harry and Annie married Jan 28, 1890 at Carleton Place. They had two children, Jenny, b. Dec 23, 1893, and William Henry, b. June 1, 1895. Harry died in the spring of 1895 possibly of diphtheria. After Harry's death, Annie and her two children joined her family, who had moved to Chippewa Co., Michigan.

Jenny PRYCE, daughter of Annie and Harry, married Fred HOLLINGDALE in Roleau, SK, about 1914. She died in 1924.

William PRYCE served in the 229th Battalion in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces, 1916-1919. He married Serena May CRARY in Madison, WI, in September, 1920. Their four children were Violet, Wilma, Eunice and William Harry. William died November 1974 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.
