Joseph Bond, b. abt 1806, IRE, d. 2 Feb 1902, Cardinal, Ont., m. Henrietta Lake, b. abt 1811, IRE, d. 11 Apr 1875, Almonte, Ont., on 30 Dec 1834 in Carleton Place, Ont. It is unknown how Joseph got to Canada. Henrietta came to Canada in the early 1800's with her father, Joseph Lake, and brother, Peter.

1. Joseph BOND was born about 1806 in Mountrath, County Queen, Leinster, IRE. He emigrated around 1827 to CAN. He appeared in the 1842, 1851 & 1861 census for Beckwith Twp and the 1871 census for Almonte, Ramsay Twp, Lanark County, ON CAN. He died on 2 Feb 1902 in Cardinal, Leeds & Grenville County, ON CAN. He was buried in St. James' Anglican Cemetery on 4 Feb 1902 in Carleton Place, Beckwith Twp, Lanark County, ON CAN.

He was married to Henrietta LAKE (daughter of Jacob LAKE and ? GRIFFITH) on 30 Dec 1834 in Carleton Place, Beckwith Twp, Lanark County, ON CAN. Henrietta LAKE was born about 1811 in Wexford, County Wexford, Leinster, IRE. She died on 11 Apr 1875 in Almonte, Ramsay Twp, Lanark County, ON CAN. She was buried in St. James' Anglican Cemetery on 12 Apr 1875 in Carleton Place, Beckwith Twp, Lanark County, ON CAN. Joseph BOND and Henrietta LAKE had the following children:
