           I am researching descendants of James ALLEN, born September 24, 1797 in Prince William Parish, York County, NB. Died, March 17, 1860 and is buried in Cemetery-on-the-Hill, Toledo, ON. He was married to Mary WOODS, daughter of John WOODS and Elmira WELLER. James parents are "believed" to be Jonah and Mary ALLEN, Loyalists from New Jersey. 

Children of James and Mary are: 

1. Rodah ALLEN, b. abt. 1824; d. July 16, 1879. Married Virgil KILBORN Sept. 25, 1844.
   Both buried in Brockville, ON 
2. Eunice ALLEN, b. abt. 1830; d. Sept. 6, 1895. Married Rufus CALL Sept. 2, 1852.
   Both buried in Wolford Rural Cemetery
3. Amos ALLEN, b. abt. 1830; d. Aug. 13, 1870. Married Maria A. MOTT. 
   Amos buried in Toledo, ON & Maria in Detroit, MI
4. William ALLEN, b. abt. 1832; d. Oct. 11, 1871. Married Rebecca KELLY Feb. 24, 1859.

5. James ALLEN, Jr. b. abt. 1833; d. Mar. 4, 1907. Married Mary BRENNAN. 
   Both buried in Wilmington, NC, USA
6. Emeline ALLEN, b. Sept. 2, 1835; d. Sept. 4, 1846.

7. Franklin ALLEN, b. abt. 1838; d. Mar. 17, 1860 (Same day as father)
