           Volunteers spent 3 mornings in September at the Lanark Land Registry Office in Almonte and have completed the sampling of the years 1868, 1895 and 1935 for Lanark Township, Town of Almonte and the General Register. We were requested to tabulate the different types of records and their conditions for these 3 years in a rural area, a town and a general register series. As a matter of interest to our members, I noted the names of the wills (which were registered at the year of death), some of which are as follows:
