    Robert Irvine came to Quebec from Ireland (born about 1800 in either Irvine, Scotland or Ireland) with wife, Nancy "Ann(e)" Kellock (Illat or Tetloch).

    Robert and Nancy (Ann's) sons were:
    1) John Irvine born abt 1826 married Mary Ann Rathwell born 1828 (daughter of William Thomas Rathwell and Sarah Morris). They later moved to Montague Twp. near Franktown, Lanark County.

    Any information on these families that remained in Lanark County would be very helpful. Thanks.

    Seeking ancestor/family information for William Richards (c1790-1854) believed to have been born in County Wexford, Ireland. Joined Royal Navy c1802, in 1817 was commanding a merchant vessel sailing London to Portugal. Married (c1816) Mary Richardson, d/o Dorothea Blake-Richardson (c1765-1818). Capt William & Mary Richards emigrated to Nova Scotia, Canada 1818, then moved to New Brunswick, Canada from where he sailed his own vessel the “William & Mary” in the West Indies trade until it was lost in a storm. Capt. Richards moved to Perth (Lanark County), Ontario, Canada in 1831 where he commanded a canal steamer the “Enterprise” for several years. William had at least one sister, Elizabeth who married Patrick Busher & produced a son Thomas (b. c1826). William & Mary Richards had no known children.

    Researching: early information on William Richards, son of William Richards and unknown, born April 1813 in Ireland, lived Drummond Twp, Lanark Co. Married mary Ann Dockerel of Clayton 10 July 1843, Church of England, Perth. Lived Bastard Twp, Leeds Co, from about 1848-1865 when family moved to Tustin, Waushara Co, Wisconsin. Would like to know his mother’s name and thus identify siblings. Willing to share later information on family.

    Seeking photographs of children of John Ritchie (1793-1864) and Mary Blair Wilson (1796-1857). This couple married Nov 7, 1820 and resided Lot 10 Con 1 Bathurst Twp. Lanark Co. Eleven children survived to adulthood.
