    Seeking ancestral/family information on Thomas Echlin and Sarah Deacon; children – Elizabeth (1813-1892) and perhaps Thomas Jr, John, Henry & Christopher.
    Daughter Elizabeth Echlin (1813-1892) married Robert Greenley (1806-1889) in 1830.

    Two men bearing the name Thomas Echlin were granted land on Bathurst Twp. Conc-9, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada, in 1817. They were father and son. Thomas Echlin the elder may have been born at St. Mary’s Dublin about 1750 and served in the Wexford Militia and the 17th Regiment of Foot and married Sarah Deacon. Thomas Echlin the younger was born at Wexford City, County Wexford around 1780 and served in the 5th Regiment of Foot & Lord Cork’s Levy and married to a woman named Mary Airley.
