    Seeking ancestral information for Alexander Cameron (c1787-1859), born at Abernethy, Invernesshire, son of Agnus Cameron & Janet Ross. Alexander Cameron served (Color Sgt.) with 103rd Regiment of Foot, War of 1812-1814, Niagara Frontier, arriving in Canada 1812. Also briefly with the Glengarry Light Infantry. Married Margaret Grant. Received military service land grant at Bathurst Twp., Conc-5/Lot-12(SW), Lanark County, Ontario, in 1818. Fathered; Ewen (1818-1911), John (b.c1820), James (b.c1822), Isabella (1824-1864), Alexander (1826-1896), Robert (1828-1904), Catherine (1830-1906), William (1833-1911), John (b.1837). Alexander Cameron died at Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 1859.

    Question: Seeking information on Peter CAVANAGH born Co. Carlow, Ireland, son of Michael CAVANAGH (KAVANAUGH) and Johanna NOWLAN (spelling?) Peter married Mary KEHOE born Co. Wexford, daughter of Henry KEHOE and Johanna KIRWAN on April 8, 1856 in St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perth. Witnesses: Michael KEHOE and Catherine MITCHELL. Mary (Kehoe) Cavanagh died in Kingston ON in 1900.
