| The local Foresters erected a tent 20 x 40 feet in size on the Market Square on Wednesday to be at the disposal of visiting brethren at the time of the reunion. Oronhyatekha telegraphed: "Wished Perth Old Boys' Reunion great success. Trust our brethren will prove themselves hosts on the occasion. My kindest regards to all." | LAW SCHOOL EXAMS. -- A.E. Lyon, of Perth, has passed his first year law examinations. |
| CIRCUS EMPLOYEES RUN AMUCK. -- Employees of Lemon Bros. circus, which showed in Perth on June 3rd, ran amuck in a couple of Quebec towns. A girl was brutally assaulted, an Indian shot and a young girl was also shot. Besides a gang of sharpers were at work with shell games. The provincial police and garrison artillerymen pursued the circus and arrested four of the marauding gang. The circus is in Carleton Place on July 6 and in Renfrew towns the week following. |
