PETITIONS FOR PUBLIC ACCESS TO
CANADA'S HISTORIC CENSUS RECORDS

The time has come to circulate a NEW petition seeking public access to Canada's Historic Census records. The first petition sent more than 62,000 signatures to the House of Commons and the Senate.

The first petition was worded in general terms. The NEW petition is worded in specific terms -- giving explicit direction regarding what we seek, and the reasons for our request.

Petitions are PDF files compiled by Adobe Acrobat Version 4.0. A FREE Acrobat reader downloadable from Adobe is required to view and print these files.

We ask that concerned individuals, Family History Societies, and Historians - anyone wanting to regain public access to Canada's Historic Census Records, to download and circulate these petitions.

Thank you for your support. With your help we will obtain our goal!
